Luxury Construction And Development
Brandon Rothenberg always wanted to join his family’s luxury construction/development company, Ellemar Enterprises. However, his parents wanted him to graduate college and gain experience to bring back to the firm. After graduation, he worked for a high-end New York City construction company until COVID-19 shut down his project in 2020. He returned to Florida and joined Ellemar, earlier than anticipated, as the Florida construction industry was thriving. Brandon has been working as Vice President of Real Estate & Development for the past two years, contributing to the continued success of Ellemar. As a premier South Florida luxury homebuilder, Ellemar has been building from Fort Lauderdale to Palm Beach for the past 30 years. Ellemar is also involved in speculative development, which is Brandon’s primary role.
Mark Rothenberg, President of Ellemar, is dedicated to achieving perfection in each luxury residence that he builds. He will only accept projects which guarantee his personal, hands-on attention to detail and his daily supervision ensures the quality associated with the extraordinary residences constructed by Ellemar. Ellemar builds six to ten homes a year from 5,000 to 30,000 square feet. “We limit and monitor our growth and the number of projects we undertake, so we don’t lose control of our quality. We’re not interested in quantity, but only quality, as our signature line reflects…Only the Best!,” says Mark.
Ellemar has recently won several awards including the 2022 Grand Aurora Award – Best Custom Home over 10,000 square feet and South Florida Business Journal’s 2022 Structures Award – Best Custom Single-Family Home.
Mark adds that working with his son has been a rewarding experience. “I’ve mentored many young people in my career, but what better person to mentor than my own son. He’s bringing new ideas that have been beneficial already, such as implementing cloud-based construction software to update our technology.”
Ellemar is preparing for a new oceanfront project in Highland Beach, coming in 2023, that is a redevelopment of Ellemar’s first oceanfront project over 30 years ago. Ellemar Enterprises has truly come full-circle and is excited for the future of its luxury construction and development company.
